The Mutant Rat is a next-generation soft lure with a floating body, designed to trigger violent strikes even at very slow retrieval speeds. Designed using ultra-realistic details obtained through 3D scanning, it combines several effective features that attract predatory fish. Its ribbed body gives it greater mobility, while its oversized frog-leg-shaped legs and straight rat tail create massive water displacement. The rounded tips of its legs, reminiscent of those of a gecko, add a subtle, perceptible movement while the lure barely moves. A lure designed for fishing in heavily snagged areas and sectors where predatory fish are under heavy fishing pressure. This model can be rigged weedless with suitable EWG hooks, or screwed onto the Mutant Hard Rat head for a hybrid soft lure and hard lure presentation.
