Originally designed and developed in Japan for black bass fishing, you will instantly recognise how well the Zodias is suited to light and medium European predators. Light in the hand and wonderfully balanced, the inclusion of Shimano's exclusive Monocoque handle enhances feel and responsiveness, transmitting every strike and movement directly to your hand. Yet, when you set the hook, the hidden power becomes apparent, offering control and maneuverability in equal measure.

Shimano's Hi-Power X technology is at the heart of the Zodias rods and increases energy transfer along the rod, for improved casting accuracy and distance, as well as reduced blank twist for better control during fights. The inclusion of a Carbon Monocoque rear handle and a custom-designed CI4+ reel seat increases sensitivity, providing remarkable feedback during use. High-quality Fuji guides further add to the quality of this high-performance range. The ULS2 model features a TAFTEC ALPHA carbon tip for extreme sensitivity. From the lightest Ultra Light Spinning models, perfect for Drop Shot and light lures, to powerful-action Casting models designed for heavy shads, Crankbaits and Spinner Baits, there are 7 Spinning models and 6 Casting models to cover all your fishing activities.
