the penn tidal rod range is part of the new exclusive tidal surfcasting concept. specially designed for surfcasting, these rods are equipped with fuji alconite type k rings that withstand the conditions encountered at sea, ensuring maximum strength and resistance. the blankbest built from high modulus 30t carbon conferring finesse, lightness and responsiveness. these models are supplied with a retractable, comfortable handle providing you with maximum support during casts and fights. there are several versions available : the metallic silver version (50-200gr) suited to light fishing that does not require heavy gear. the metallic green (100-225 g) and metallic blue (100-250 g) versions are very versatile surfcasting rods that can be used in any types of conditions. however, if distance and power are all that matter, the metallic red versions (100-300 g) are the ones you are looking for.
