the penn tidal xr is part of penn's new and exclusive tidal surfcasting concept. the tidal xr beach rollers with sliding reel seat have been specially designed to be used with a fixed-spool reel or a multiplier and are equipped with the new fuji-o deep press rings that are sw-proof. the blanks are built with a blend of 30/40t high-modulus carbon to ensure a light, responsive and very slim blank. moreover, the special carbon x-wrap technology adds to the blank's strength and reduces twisting, thus improving casting accuracy and control. the glow-in-the-dark paint makes it easy to see bites in low-light conditions. additionally, they are all equipped with a special x-shrink grip for maximum control when casting.
