The SP50200TA-2 three-function transducer; depth, speed and temperature, with a transom mount, is the most powerful in its range. The 50 kHz and 200 kHz ceramics produce concentrated beams that highlight the water column and bottom structure.

The SP50200TA-2 transducer offers a 45°/11° beam and fits hull angles from 2° to 20°.

Because of its hydrodynamic shape, the water exiting the transom flows smoothly through the transducer. This results in precise and fast bottom readings with clear images. In addition, this sensor also incorporates a patented noise suppression system. Indeed, this transducer has improved protection against vibration and noise. Thanks to this system, the boat gains a speed of 5 to 8 knots (6 to 9 km/h) compared with conventional transducers with a transom mount. Finally, the plastic bracket allows the sensor to pivot to protect the housing if it is struck from the front.

The SP50200TA-2 transducer is compatible with the bottom discrimination function and ACCUFISH for FURUNO sounders FCV627, FCV587, FCV628 and FCV588, TZTL12F and TZTL15F and on FURUNO combo units GP1670F, GP1870F.

Bottom discrimination :
• Seabeds are composed of very different elements that are often impossible to see. Yet, we would like to know their nature in order to position ourselves on the best fishing spot or to know where to anchor.
• Bottom discrimination technology offers the ability, in addition to classic echo sounder functions, to analyze and illustrate the nature of the bottom: silt, sand, gravel or rock, in depths from 5 to 100 m.
• This sensor is also compatible with the REZBOOST function of the FCV628, FCV588 and the TZTL12F and TZTL15F.
