Bream fishing, whether on commercial still waters or on natural stretches, is becoming increasingly popular in the UK as well as in Europe.
We have therefore developed a groundbait perfectly suited to the needs of the modern angler targeting bream.
Golden yellow in color, typical of traditional bream groundbaits, it effectively attracts schools of bream and skimmers, while standing out visually on most lake beds.
Bream Feeder is made from a blend of crushed pellets, fishmeal and corn-based ingredients, all known for their effectiveness on this species. The particles are deliberately of varying sizes, the larger ones staying on the bottom, which encourages bream to root around and feed for longer. This constant searching creates feeding competition among the fish, thereby increasing the chances of a bite. In addition, the heavier particles sink back down quickly to the bottom, extending the active life of the swim.
Preparation instructions Bream Feeder is very simple to prepare. For most situations, pour the contents of the 2 kg bag into a round bucket, fill a maggot tin with 2 pints of water, then pour this water over the groundbait. Mix thoroughly, then leave to stand for 30 minutes to allow the moisture to be well absorbed. For optimal results, sieve the mix afterwards to remove any lumps and obtain a homogeneous texture. The groundbait is then ready to use.
It can be adjusted according to fishing conditions: • For a light, airy groundbait, ideal for close-range feeder cage fishing, add around 1.5 pints of water per 2 kg of groundbait. • For a firmer mix, add 2 pints of water, which gives a perfect consistency for use with a feeder cage, feeder bullet, method feeder, or for hand-baiting with the long pole or a wagler.
To further boost its attractiveness, you can add Bream Feeder Liquid Flavour to the mix.
During fishing, sun and wind can slightly dry out the groundbait. To prevent this, cover it with a damp towel or simply add a little water before remixing it.
