our first spinning spoon model: the sleepy, very technical… too… did not win unanimous approval because of its difficulty of use. that is why we chose to work on a much more all-purpose model suited to everyone.

the blackbird meets these requirements: it is an in-line type spinning spoon that turns as soon as it contacts the water and at the slightest twitch, including when retrieved very slowly. you can feel it in the rod, sometimes forcing you to add a rolling swivel to limit line twist in large rivers.

thanks to its teardrop weight, this spoon sinks quickly to fish at the bottom of holes or to stay positioned in strong currents. reeling slowly will allow you to work it at the desired depth but it easily rises in the water column as soon as retrieval speed is increased. the blackbrid withstands both strong currents and calm flats, which makes it versatile at the water's edge.
