our first in-line spinner model: the sleepy, very technical… too… did not win unanimous approval because of its difficulty of use. that's why we chose to work on a much more versatile model suitable for everyone.

the blackbird meets these requirements: it is an in-line spinner that spins as soon as it contacts the water and at the slightest touch, including when retrieved very slowly. it is felt on the rod, sometimes requiring a rolling swivel to limit twisting in large rivers.

thanks to its teardrop weight, this spinner sinks quickly to fish the bottom of holes or to stay aligned in strong currents. reeling slowly will allow you to make it run at the desired depth but it easily rises in the water column as soon as retrieval speed is increased. the blackbrid copes just as well with strong currents as with calm flats, which makes it versatile at the water's edge.
