our first spinner model: the sleepy, very technical… too… did not win unanimous approval because of its difficulty of use. that’s why we chose to work on a much more all-purpose model suited to everyone.

the blackbird meets these requirements: it is a spinner of the « in-line » type that spins as soon as it contacts the water and at the slightest provocation, including when being retrieved very slowly. you feel it in the rod, sometimes forcing you to fit a rolling swivel to limit twist in large rivers.

thanks to its teardrop weight, this spinner sinks quickly to fish at the bottom of holes or to remain positioned in strong currents. retrieving slowly will allow you to make it run at the desired depth but it rises easily into the water column as soon as the retrieval speed is increased. the blackbrid copes with both strong currents and calm flats, which makes it versatile at the water's edge.
