A new name joins our Tenryu rod catalogue: NAMIJA

Why NAMIJA?
In Japan, sea bass fishing is mainly practised with hard lures, whereas in Europe practices have gradually incorporated more soft lures. In these different markets (Japan, Benelux, United Kingdom...), shore bass fishing also relies on long rods to optimise casting distance and line control.

NAMIJA therefore offers a dedicated interpretation of these lengths, with a faster action, in line with current European techniques, while retaining excellent versatility with hard lures, topwater lures or metal lures.

The range consists of 4 models from 2,70 m to 3,25 m (9’ to 10’8’’).

Primarily designed for shore bass fishing, the Namija 1000MH is a sensitive, very fast-action rod ideal for the use of soft lures up to 50g in deep areas with strong currents. It also excels for the use of swimbaits and metal lures when it is necessary to cover as much ground as possible in search of active fish. Fitted with a reverse starting titanium guide, the Namija 1000MH is designed to maximise casting distance while offering maximum sensitivity and optimal line control. Despite its length, this model remains particularly light and pleasant to use.
