A new name joins our Tenryu rod catalogue: NAMIJA

This series was developed by Tenryu at our request to meet the demands of shore fishing in Europe. NAMIJA is an exclusive Ultimate Fishing range

Why NAMIJA?
In Japan, bass fishing is mainly practised with hard lures, while in Europe practices have progressively incorporated more soft lures. In these different markets (Japan, Benelux, United Kingdom...), shore bass fishing also relies on long rods to optimise casting distance and line control.

NAMIJA therefore offers a dedicated interpretation of these lengths, with a faster action, in line with current European techniques, while retaining excellent versatility with hard baits, surface lures or metal lures.

The range consists of 4 models from 2.70 m to 3.25 m (9' to 10'8").

The Namija 1080MH is the longest rod in the Namija range. This model was developed for shore bass fishing with soft lures up to 60g in deep, strong-current areas where it is necessary to cast long distances to let the lure swim naturally during long drifts. This fishing technique, similar to legering, is often practised in harbours and on breakwaters in the Netherlands. Its very fast action and incredible sensitivity also make it a versatile rod ideal for hard baits and metal lures. Fitted with a reversed titanium tip guide, the Namija 1080MH is designed to maximise casting distance while offering maximum sensitivity and optimal line control. Despite its length and the significant power required to tame large fish in difficult conditions, this model remains particularly light and pleasant to use.

COMMON DNA OF THE RANGE
The 4 models share exactly the same philosophy and the same components :

• Ultra-sensitive, fast and responsive blanks
• Fuji Titanium guides
