A new name joins our Tenryu rod catalogue: NAMIJA

Why NAMIJA ?
In Japan, bass fishing is practiced mainly with hard lures, whereas in Europe practices have progressively incorporated more soft lures. In these different markets (Japan, Benelux, United Kingdom...), shore bass fishing also relies on long rods to optimize casting distance and line control.

NAMIJA therefore offers a dedicated interpretation of these lengths, with a faster action, in line with current European techniques, while retaining excellent versatility with hard, surface or metal lures.

The range consists of 4 models from 2,70 m to 3,25 m (9’ to 10’8’’).

The Namija 960MH is a rod primarily designed for shore bass fishing with lures up to 40g maximum. Its very fast action and incredible sensitivity make it particularly versatile and effective for many soft-lure techniques but also for the use of hard lures. Its length allows one to catapult the lure to long distances while maintaining maximum line control. This model also excels for zander fishing in large rivers and canals.
