We designed the Pike Stalker series primarily for stationary fishing or deadbait fishing with float rigs. In addition to pike, this series of rods also allows you to target zander. Compared with carp rods, we focused on a fast tip action, rigid blanks and more powerful tips. After all, when fishing for pike and zander, everything depends on the bite. During the fight, each Pike Stalker nevertheless reveals its semi-parabolic action, which easily cushions the fish's runs, even at short range. The rubber-and-cork handle material is not only elegant, but also extremely robust and offers an excellent grip. We deliberately accepted the additional weight compared with cork or EVA, as it is located in the handle area and therefore makes the Pike Stalker rods even better balanced. We designed the Pike Stalker 270 cm | 2.50 lb for float fishing in small bodies of water, where casting distance is not critical. You can also use this shorter rod in places where trees overhang the water. Thanks to its compact size, you will have no problem even in small cars or when travelling by bicycle or public transport. Do not be misled by the stated power. This rod really has plenty of power, which was important to us when fighting fish at short range.
