We designed the Pike Stalker series primarily for still fishing or deadbait fishing with float rigs. In addition to pike, this series of rods also allows you to fish for zander. Compared with carp rods, we have focused on a tip action, rigid blanks and more powerful tips. After all, when fishing for pike and zander, everything depends on the bite. During the fight, each Pike Stalker nevertheless reveals its semi-parabolic action, which makes it possible to absorb the fish’s runs without difficulty, even at short range. The rubber and cork handle material is not only elegant, it is also extremely robust and offers an excellent grip. We deliberately accepted the additional weight compared with cork or EVA, because it is located in the handle area and therefore makes the Pike Stalker rods even better balanced. We designed the Pike Stalker 300 cm | 3.5 lb for pike fishing from a boat. But you can of course also use it from the bank if you like short rods with plenty of power. Power is important if you want to own a rod that you can use for everything—as is often the case when fishing from a boat. In addition to float rigs with baits presented on the bottom, you can of course use this rod for other bottom-fishing techniques or for classic float fishing. You do not have to compromise on your choice of bait, as you can easily cast lures weighing more than 250 grams.
