The Takumi PE is a 4-strand braid that is highly abrasion-resistant. Baitcasting enthusiasts will love it. With 8-strand braids, especially in thin diameters, tangling problems are almost inevitable. The Takumi PE provides the solution.

Why does Momoi no longer indicate a diameter but the PE value?

The diameter of a braid cannot be measured precisely because of its irregular cross-section.

Most brands display unrealistic figures: their braids are often thicker or less strong than advertised. We prefer to remain honest and transparent.

Japanese PE classifies braids according to their actual weight, not their strength. It is a more reliable reference for judging the thinness of a braid. Result: Momoi braids are much thinner than those of the competition, sometimes twice as thin at equal strength.
