our first spinner model: the sleepy, very technical… too technical… did not win unanimous approval because of its difficulty of use. that is why we chose to work on a much more versatile model suited to everyone.

the blackbird meets these requirements: it is an in-line spinner that spins as soon as it contacts the water and at the slightest twitch, including when reeling very slowly. it is felt in the rod, sometimes requiring a rolling swivel to limit line twist in large rivers.

thanks to its teardrop weight, this spinner sinks quickly to fish at the bottom of deep holes or to remain positioned in strong currents. reeling slowly will allow you to work it at the desired depth but it will readily rise in the water column as soon as retrieval speed is increased. the blackbrid handles both strong currents and calm flat waters, which makes it versatile at the water's edge.
