The Dude is the crankbait for the transition between the surface and the mid-depth layers. Its name doesn't lie: it's an "allesvanger", a true all-rounder. Its square bill (square bill) allows it to work aggressively along the bottom and around structures without the treble hooks getting snagged. Larger than the SR, it emits stronger signals that attract predators from further away.

When to fish it
• Just after the morning shallow phase (between 9:00 and 10:00), when fish leave the weedbeds to position themselves just behind.
• Shallow/deep transition zones, sandbars, above structures.
• Calm or flowing water, year-round.

How to fish it
Slow to medium retrieve. The square bill allows it to bang into structures and the bottom aggressively: the lure does not roll on its bill and maintains a stable vertical position. It is on contact with structures (rocks, timber, shells) that it triggers erratic movements causing reflex strikes. Main species: pike.
