The MDR is the big brother of the MD. Larger (7,5 cm body vs 6 cm), it emits stronger signals and can be seen from further away in the water column. It is the ultimate competition all-round crankbait: when Willem doesn't know which species to target, the MDR is the one he reaches for first.

How to fish it
Same techniques as the MD: variable retrieve, jerking, twitching, suspending. The green-bellied version is particularly effective on zander, the orange-bellied one on perch. As with the MD, strikes often occur when the lure rises toward the surface at the end of the retrieve.
