The R7 MD is Willem Stolk's favorite crankbait. It’s the most versatile in the range: slow retrieve, fast retrieve, jerk, twitch, running through current, fishing along edges — everything works. Its suspending character allows it to be worked like a jerkbait, leaving it suspended between actions. Its flat action (flat action) is irresistible to predators.

When to fish it
• All year round, including in winter thanks to its suspending character.
• As soon as the 2.5 to 3.5 m layer needs to be explored: rocks, mussel beds, sand, current edges.
• It’s the all-day crankbait, the safe choice in competition.

How to fish it
The MD accepts all types of retrieves. On a slow straight retrieve, on a fast straight retrieve, jerked, twitched, in contact with rocks. Some colours are available in a matte finish (clear water / sun) and others in a glossy finish. Key observation: predators very often attack this lure at the end of the retrieve, when it starts to rise toward the surface (last 2-4 m). Never rush the end of the retrieve!
